It's always rightly said that 'losing weight is much easier than maintaining a fit figure'. So how do all these famous celebrity stars remain so fit and fine? Certainly there is no shortcut to success. These celebrity stars have spent a lot of their time and energy to achieve their present superstar status and yet, for maintaining this status, they have to keep looking good and attractive. Of course, one has to be talented to be successful in the entertainment industry but physical appearance does matter. One has to look attractive when one enters the show business. No wonder these stars work a great deal not only to achieve success but also to look smart and maintain an attractive profile.

Some celebrities undergo intensive fitness training to keep themselves in great shape while others endure a strict diet to lose and maintain weight. For instance the famous pop-star Madonna undergoes a gruelling regime to maintain an amazingly sculpted body. All she practices is a strenuous form of yoga, called 'Ashtanga Yoga' and a regular routine of cycling in the gym. This along with a healthy diet keeps the celeb star in shape. No junk food, only a diet of natural, unrefined and healthy food!

Other than Madonna, Usher, the hip hop singer well known for his washboard abs, is known to do 1000 crunches a day and undergo a routine of skipping, stretching and jumping jack; moving up to push ups and pull ups, leg raises and triceps dips. His well toned body is not just the result of a strenuous exercise routine but also of a diet of moderate amount of carbs, lots of fruits and green leafy vegetables.

Regular gym workouts and army style training has turned Jessica Simpson fit for her role in the upcoming movie. She resorted to sugar free jelly to satisfy her sweet cravings. Her diet includes no junk but lot of healthy carbohydrates, brown rice and fruits. Even Angelina Jolie underwent a strict heavy protein diet of meat and fish along with various types of physical training such as kickboxing, scuba diving and weapons training. She also learned bungee ballet to maintain her fit figure. No doubt she was called the epitome of physical fitness.

Many times stars use fitness trainers to train them with personalised workout routines so as to maintain their shape and fitness. Many go to a gym to reduce excess fat that may cause their attractive body to look a little flabby. Some like Gwyneth Paltrow have turned to Yoga to achieve and maintain their lean look. She was amongst those stars that were known to follow a strict macrobiotic diet. But after becoming a mother of two kids she had made her dietary routine a little flexible enjoying a lot of veggies and legumes.

In a nutshell, whether these celebs go to health clubs or fitness centres or work out in their homes, they still have to follow a controlled diet and a hard core regimen to be able to flaunt their body in public and become an idol to their fans.
