According to various studies and researches conducted about American men and women's preferred weight loss solutions, the method that most of us look for is a quick and easy way to lose unwanted pounds: weight loss pills. There are various weight loss pills in the market; they differ in form, function, formulation and of course, on level of effectiveness. But generally, weight loss pills are not safe to use. No matter how ideal the formulation of a weight loss supplement is, there would come a point when a person would experience its ill-effects on his or her health. In fact, this observation rings true even for those weight loss supplements that are believed to carry organic ingredients.

In line with this, another group of researchers found out those American men and women's preferences were to go on a healthy diet regimen than to opt for weight loss supplements and fad diets. This may be hard to believe because it is evident in the weight loss market that the industry of weight loss products are indeed thriving but accordingly, this is not the case. Also, the study indicated that now more than ever, there is the increased number of men and women who are on a diet as comparedto the years before. The results of the study revealed that Twenty-nine percent of women and 19 percent of men are currently on diets, compared to 35 percent of women and 23 percent of men a decade ago. More people now see dieting as not a healthy way to live long-term.

Unfortunately, there are also some negative inputs that were revealed by the research study. Based on the results of the said study, percent of adults still do desire to lose an average of 20 pounds, which is close to the 62 percent of U.S. adults who are overweight

Rapid weight gain and obesity has since become a huge problem that both American men and womn have to face. This phenomenon is seemingly an effect of the wise lifestyle choices that the American society has been following. Although more awareness and consciousness against rapid weight gain and obesity has risen over the years, the fact is that weight loss is still hard to maintain because some of the individuals are either too lazy to leave their sedentary way of life or they are simply too busy to bother weight a weight loss regimen.

On our opinion, we believe that weight management pursuits are indeed important and everyone should join the efforts in combatting not only rapid weight gain, obesity, and unhealthy lifestyles, but also the effects that come with these conditions. Although, at this point, we are one in our belief that obesity can still be managed and its hazards can still be kept at bay, provided that we all make dire efforts to become healthy at all costs.
