Do you think that all of the things going wrong with your body is because you are becoming older? That is only half the reason if you are a cigarette smoker. The smoke and all of the chemicals in that cigarette are what is causing most of the damages to your body. If you smoke, you will probably start losing your teeth and even your hair earlier in life than you would if you did not smoke. This smoke will cause damage to your skin and will make you look much older than you are a lot sooner.
Your skin will also lose it bounce so that it will fall. It can get this brownish tint to it making you look sick even if you feel fine. Your body will start to slow down. You will start to not be able to fight infections like you did before those cigarettes came into your life. If you happen to be a woman and you are reading this, think about this question. Do you think that you are using a lot more make-up and all of the other things on the market to help you look younger? Are you just getting older or is it probably because you smoke cigarettes?
If you happen to be a teenager just starting that smoking habit, think about what you want to look like in a ten years. If your parents smoke, think about the way they might look or feel because of smoking. If you really listen to what they are saying, you might hear them say they are just so tired or they hurt all over. They might even have a nasty cough that goes on all day long. These might be some signs to watch out for as they have come from the smoke and cigarettes. You might think that it will be many years before you have to deal with any side affects like that caused from smoking, but do not be too sure. Younger and younger people are getting cancers and many of them are caused from smoking.
No one is immune to the effects of smoking no matter how long you have been doing it. The damage done by cigarette smoking might start out small and not that noticeable, but everyone is different and just because your grandfather did not die from lung cancer until he was seventy, does not mean that it could not kill you at fifty. Not smoking is no guarantee that you will not age eventually on the outside or get some disease on the inside, but if you do not smoke cigarettes your odds of avoiding these things for longer are greater.
