Laser Liposuction Machine Comparisons and Functionality

The type of laser liposuction machine can make a difference in the results achieved. It makes sense to compare each machine, its features and functionality. There are several out there that surgeons work with for fat reduction. The machines range is wattage power, pulse duration and wavelengths. Most machines target all areas of the body but some exclude some body parts. Below is a comparison that will give you an idea of which oworks best for which type of surgeries. Most are FDA approved with the exception of two models which are pending approvall.

The SmartLipo machines delivers power of 6, 8 and 22 watts with a wavelength of id Nd:YAG 1064 nm. The delivery mechanism is 300 um fiber making it work well for areas of the body such as chin, neck, arms, male breast, abdomen, back, flank, buttocks, hips, thighs and knees. This machine is FDA approved.

The Smartlipo MPX machine comes with two wavelengths either used separately or combined for maximum benefit. The wavelengths are Nd:YAG 1064 nm and the Nd:YAG nm, delivering 600 um of fiber. This machine is also FDA approved.

The CoolLipo device is equipped with a wavelength of Nd:YAG 1320 nm and 15 wattage. It is CoolBlue duet enabled delivering 200, 320, and 500 um fibers. It targets most areas of the body except for the knees and is FDA approved.

The ProLipo device has two wavelengths also, the Nd:YAG 1064 nm and the Nd:YAG 1319 nm. The maximum power for the 1064 is 5 to 15 watts while the maximum power for the 1319 is 20 watts (for USA models). Its delivery system is 600 to 1000 um core. It is pending FDA approval and will target most problem areas except for the knees.

The ProLipo Plus device comes with three wavelengths, the 1064, 1319 and a Diode 980 nm and uses 40 watts of power delivering 600 to 1000 um fiber. It targets all of the areas of the body and is FDA approved.

The Lipolite machine has a wavelength of 1064 nm and 12 watt maximum power. The delivery mechanism is 550 um fiber with a pulse duration of 100 to 800 usec. The machine targets the chin, neck and jowls, arms, male breast, back, abdomen, buttocks and thighs and is also FDA approved.

The Lipotherme utilizes a Diode 980 nm wavelength with 25 watts of power and provides continuous pulse duration. This machine delivers 600 um fiber and targets the chin, jowls, arms, back, abdomen, hips, thighs, knees and ankles. it is FDA approved

The LipoControl device uses a Diode 980 nm wavelength with a continuous pulse duration of25 watts of maximum power. The machine delivers 600 um fiber and FDA approval is pending.
