We began life as aquatic creatures indeed life on our planet started in the oceans and we have never lost our dependence on the life giving properties of water.

Water is the very essence of our existence our bodies are made up of approximately 75 percent water. It regulates the balance of our systems and enables chemical messages to be transported round the body. It prevents us from overheating is an essential part of the lubrication to allow the joints of our skeleton to move and our muscles to do their work. It carries food where it is needed and assists in eliminating the waste from our bodies.

Imagine your body without water, it would become a small heap of dehydrated cells without shape, movement or life itself. Your brain is the hardest working organ and is never off duty even when you are asleep. To ensure good brain function, the brain needs water to maintain the chemical and physical processes that keep us functioning.

Do you think you drink enough water. Many of the first symptoms of ageing and chronic disease occur because many of us do not drink enough, and it must be water. It is the most economical way of attaining and maintaining good health and an essential part of any natural weight loss or healthy eating regime.

Dehydration can often be confused with hunger, therefore if you are trying to lose weight naturally you should always ensure you remain well hydrated. Regular water intake will help to reduce those mid morning or mid afternoon food cravings. Amazing results can be obtained simply by increasing your water intake, exercising regularly and eating a well balanced and healthy diet.

Make it a habit to drink regularly. Whether thirsty or not we are often becoming dehydrated long before we feel thirsty. Try adding some fresh lemon this can assist with cleansing your system in the morning, the kidneys work more efficiently the colon is rehydrated which can help overcome constipation and your energy levels will be given a boost.

It is recommended as a general guideline that you aim to consume at least 2 litres of water each day. As you form the healthy habit of drinking more it will become your preference and you will soon develop the habit of carrying water with you wherever you are. If you are exercising it is very important that you replace the fluids lost and you should increase your intake throughout.

We strongly recommend that you drink more water every day from now on and are confident that as a result you may find that you eat less, lose weight, eliminate food cravings, feel healthier and have much more energy.
