There are three phases to the Master Cleanse diet. The Master Cleanse itself, it should be noted, is not really hard when you hear about it on paper. That is to say, it sounds easier then it is, probably because the actual concept behind the lemonade cleanse has little to do with hard to find grocery items and strange serving sizes (well, the serving sizes might be a little strange).

So we start at the beginning, meaning the first phase which, surprise, surprise does not include one drop of lemonade (I was surprised too). This first phase is called the ease-in and let's face it, any diet that has a phase devoted entirely to 'warm-up' before the actual diet begins is going to be a little intense (don't say you haven't been warned).

This pre-diet routine is actually not as scary as it sounds and some proponents of the Master Cleanse don't necessarily think you need to do the ease-in. So, although this phase is optional I highly recommend it and the recipe should be followed with the strictest accordance.

Just so we are clear the pre-cleanse should prepare the stomach for eating less food and prepare the mind for eating less food.

So without further delay, here is the beginning of the natural colon cleanse recipe known as the Master Cleanse.

Day one includes fruits and vegetables (simply stop eating anything processed and dig into large helpings of fruits and vegetables).

Day two includes fruits and vegetables in Juice Form (same materials but juice it up first. There is a very good reason for this part of the diet (you guessed it) the lemonade cleanse is essentially a liquid diet so it's time to get prepared for all those lemony beverages you will soon be consuming at a very aggressive pace).

Day three involves orange juice (Get 2 liters of orange juice and mix with 2 tablespoons of Maple Syrup).

So after this 3 day 'ease-in' period it is time to start the lemonade Master Cleanse diet. The purpose of this article is simply to let you know that the Master Cleanse does have a few phases so before you begin the lemonade cleanse you will want to remember you are making an investment not just in your diet, but in your time.

The Master Cleanse probably gets most of its hype from the fact that it was one of the first colon cleanse diets on the Web, that and the fact that proponents of the Master Cleanse claim it works better than other cleanse diets, but there are many great colon cleanse recipes on the market which may work better for you.
