Blood sugar levels on the other hand are stabilized because fiber slows down the conversion of carbohydrates into sugar and when this maintained, your cravings for sugary snacks are greatly reduced. Furthermore, fiber is a substance that is very filling. When it enters your stomach, it expands leaving little room for anything else and you end up feeling satisfied. Because fiber has very little calories, eating a lot of it will not significantly increase your calorie burden. These positive effects of fiber in body all work in support of weight of loss.
