Why does fat loss still remain to be such a difficult task? This may be attributed to following diets and methods which are very wrong and consequently there is no visible progress but rather a disrupted metabolic process and a disappointed person.

The most difficult task however, is to maintain the new weight after one is through with the diets and the exercises. The risks of rebounding are always very high because one is always eager to complete the boring diet and that the temptation of the foods one used to like is still very rife.

From a scientific point of view it is almost impossible to shed off a considerable amount of fat in just a few days and not end up jeopardising ones health. Loosing fat is a process that involves patience and alot of self motivation. Many tend to expect immediate results in a relatively short time but of course that is a pure form of the human nature. From the media, friends and gossip, the fat loss issue is perceived to be a herculean task hence discouraging the masses.

The safe and recommended fat loss rate is about 2 pounds a week. It may seem very little but it is does not put the body in any potential risk. The basics of a fat loss program involve doing away with the fat rich junk foods and indulging in exercises of the aerobic type. These will help one ward off the many useless opinions being aired everywhere.

Fat loss however does not involve starvation and spending eternities in the gym working out. Below one will find eating tips which are sure to get one the desired results.

These include the following:

- Schedule your meals to be about 3 hours apart which will make one take about 6 meals daily. This enables one to avoid over eating or even skip meals and morever one is not starved.

- Insist on taking whole foods as a substitute for the processed foods, fried foods and junk.

- Ensure you consume a food portion which is rich in lean protein in every meal. Chicken or fish are the best examples. A protein bar or shake can also be consumed as part of the meal.

- When taking a meal, insist on eating the vegetables and proteins first followed by the carbohydrates. This is directed at ensuring one you eat less carbohydrates as the proteins and vegetables will have satisfied you beforehand.

These tips are directed at losing fat without having to go hungry.

Exercise Tips For Better Fat Loss

When one performs any form of exercise the metabolic process is driven to very high levels because the body needs energy in large amounts. In the process alot of fat is burnt up to yield the needed energy. We thus need to do several exercises to get more quantities of fat to be burnt. Normal workout regimen and cardio will thus help one a great deal. However, these two should be scheduled to take place at different times of the day. This is meant to cause the body to go into high metabolism more than once hence more fat is burnt. Cardio should be scheduled to take place in the early morning hours and the workouts in the afternoon. Combining these two exercises will yield only one metabolic spike.

Cardio in the morning burns more fat since the stomach is empty and thus the only source of energy is the body fat. Jogging, cycling or using the cardio machines are good examples of cardio exercises.
Weight training will not only help with the metabolism but will go ahead to build lean muscle mass.
Cardio should last a maximum of 45 minutes while Weight training should last about 30 minutes.
