Summer is just round the bend. Predictably, almost all of us are really enthused and excited about these upcoming seasons. But then again, who wouldn't be excited about the summer season? Aren't we all looking forward to the summer season for over a year already? That said; it is just deemed proper for us to make the most of this time of the year. But before throwing all caution to the wind, we think that we should first consider a few thoughts to ponder to make the summer season the best we will have, ever.

Scientifically speaking, summer should start on the 20th of June. Why is that so? Studies say that on the 20th of June the sun would be facing towards the North Pole. And due to the earth's axial tilt, it would be that day the sun would be out for the extended duration. Thus making it certifiably the first day of summer.

Here are some ways to enjoy the heat of the summer:

Protect yourself from the sun. Shield your skin from harmful UV rays by using various kinds of protection like clothing or by trying to seek out shading elsewhere. Or if sunbathing is your thing and you really want to have a great tan for this season, we then suggest the use of sun block or suntan lotion. Choose those which have high numbers of SPF so that the skin will not experience the wrath of the sun, especially at the peak of the summer season.

Seasoned Fruits. Yes, indeed; there are many fruits that are in season during summer. As such, we suggest that to truly enjoy summer, we should also bask in taking in these fruits because as we said, these fruits cannot be consumed when it is not in season on other seasons of the year. Pineapple, mangoes, avocados and lots more. These fruits are usually fleshy and watery. Eat them ala carte or mix them with ice to make a fruity drink. And there are some stores have them already sliced, packed and chilled... ready for your eating pleasures. They are full of nutrients your body needs to keep up with the heat.

Go out with friends. Bask out in the sun with your peers, friends, and colleagues; even with the other members of your family. How about oiling down that old bike and go around the neighborhood or to a nearby park? You'll never know who you'll meet down that rusty bike path. Or is getting in shape and getting that tan not enough to have you all set up for the beach?

It's party time, so go and get prepped up for the perfect summer party! Try a barbecue party right in your own backyard! Sip that ice-cold glass of lemonade to help you cool down and wash down those grilled hotdogs! Invite your friends to came over and maybe catch up on some news. It's the season for replenishing your weary mind and body. So do it - no questions asked.
