It has a high concentration of anti-oxidant properties, oleic acid and known through research to fight against heart diseases by limiting the effects of bad cholesterol as it enhances the effects of the goods ones.

According to studies one may consume to 2 tablespoon of olive oil on their daily food consumption in substitution to the amount of saturated fats. Such would not affect an increase in calories and could even lessen the risk of heart disease. There are also some researches that prove olive oil can be utilized to help prevent and treat peptic ulcer as well as cancer prevention. Definitely, Olive Oil is considered to be one of the good oils for its healing effects.
