There are researches that have been related to how our mind works. Evidently, ailments and stress are caused by the status and condition of our body and even our mind as well. This also reflects at how much we could endure the pressures of our daily way of life that we face.
To cite a few examples of the mind and body connection, let's start off with just mere words. When a particular word is mention it could bring us different emotions, such as embarrassment, sadness or even happiness. And these emotions affect our body moods producing some particular behavior. In example, when we feel sad, we cry and then we turn on for some comfort may it be from buying things to make us happy or even eating. And the list goes on. The body responds to what the mind thinks. Obviously, the content of our thoughts could push us our body to do things in response to it.
Scientific research has been explaining that this kind of connection is also similar with the way all our body parts work. What our mind thinks send signals that makes our body change its path in terms of actions. This is one way how our mind can work to fight off diseases and bad habits including those that could result in weight gain and even obesity.
Obesity is known to be a condition where an individual exceeds their usual body mass index to 30. It is also common phenomenon for this condition that the food consumed is eliminated in very small volume. In this light, fatty build up is inevitable.
This article is not advising dieter to sign up for mind curing sessions but if there are cases that one would need to more encouragement to make you realize how important it is to make a lifestyle change, then it is deemed understandable. Remember that lifestyle change is not easy at first. It would take a lot of understanding from the people around you to make it through this endeavor.
Another thing is to keep the mind focused in finishing up a goal that it has set up. Be persistent to successfully endure what you have started and not giving up when you have reached half-way. In terms of weight loss, it would not happen overnight, just as much as you did not accumulate those excess weights in just one snap. Stay focused and believed that something good would happen if you finish this goal unto its end. It is very common for some people to feel anxious when the results they want seem to take too long to realize.
Learning should also be incorporated. Teach our minds to do things and the body would follow. In example, learn how eating some foods would add up to our weight, learn it by bits so that you would know how it entirely function as it is. Then your mind would eventually see how hazardous it could be for the system and would have second thoughts the next time it encounters such. It's not easy, but all it takes is the willingness of the mind to teach the body some new tricks.
