Most people have been complaining about those fatty layers on their abdominal areas. They have tried sit ups and all sorts of exercises that they think would help but the fact is it remains to be a bothersome. Some dieters may think it is mere fats that they are fighting against because they know for a fact that they have led an unhealthy lifestyle that is filled with a sedentary lifestyle and wrong food choices. But there is also one more factor to blame, bloating.
It is indeed difficult to distinguish whether those bulges are from fats or bloating or they could even be experiencing both. So where does bloating comes from? And are there any means to avoid this condition?
Bloating is already common among people who are obese because this condition mainly results in indigestion due to unhealthy preference in foods. Discomfort after meals is also a common symptom that you are bloated. The pain that one experiences after eating would mean that the foods are not being digested properly.
There are some things you can do to eliminate that bloating effect. For one, drinking plenty of water would be a good practice. We know for a fact that water supports many benefits most especially in food digestion. We have always been reminded to drink 8 glasses of water and this one actually works. Some people complains that having to consume that much water would make them have very frequent visits to the toilet, but as your body gets used to that much water intake it would naturally makes its own adjustment. Drinking water is advisable to be done during the earlier times of the day because having it otherwise would result in interrupted sleeps to make those trips to the toilet.
Another thing that causes bloating is chewing on gums. This allows air to be swallowed that straight paths towards the tummy. Did you know that sugar-free gums cause twice as much bloating? It is because the sugar found on this gums are artificial that the digestive system is not normally capable of breaking down. Hence, this chewing gum habit causes gas and bloating. So, instead of gums why not opt to chew on a much healthier foods instead. Slice up a carrot or cucumber to save yourself from unwanted bloating and even supply your body with much needed nutrients.
Another contributor for bloating is the consumption of fatty foods. These foods take longer time to be digested making one feel uncomfortable. In this light drinking water would still be the primary aid in easing this condition.
People who have lactose intolerance also contribute for bloating. Notice how your stomach would react upon consuming dairy products such as milk or ice cream. If you feel any discomfort after eating such then chances are you are lactose intolerant. Even those that could tolerate eating these foods could feel bloating and water is still the best aid you could find.
Bloating is actually inevitable for people who have a healthy weight and for those who are suffering from obesity. The only way you could fight off or ease up this condition is by eliminating the factors that could contribute bloating such as those mentioned above.
