Ways Smoking Can Damage Your Body

Smoking is a bad habit to have because it can do so many things to your body that you will regret. The damages can be serious and it can kill you over time. Everyday it will do damage to your body and your health. When you smoke, toxic chemicals are going into your body that are dangerous, and it is weakening the inside and the outside of your body. It causes many cancers like lung cancer, throat cancer, mouth cancer, and these are just some of the cancers that smoking can cause. It can cause lung disease, emphysema, and bone density, which will affect you when you get older.

Smoking affects the sex life in both men and women. This happens in some people but not in all people. It can cause wrinkles on your face, bags under the eyes, bad skin, yellow teeth, and yellow fingers and nails. When wrinkles get on the face, it is because it is weakening the skin form and the muscles underneath it. For lots of people, it is hard for them to quit because they are addicted to the nicotine in the cigarettes and their body thinks it needs it. Your body doesn't need it, and you just have to work with it and try to quit slowly.

For women that are pregnant, they need to quit slowly so you will not give your child nerve damage because it can happen if you quit cold turkey. Smoking will cause you to cough, wheeze, and it can cause you to have breathing problems. If you stop smoking, you will see the difference in your breathing, and your body will feel better after a few days. All the toxins will not be in your body and your body can start to get better if you don't have a disease or cancer. You might feel like you have more energy to run or do any other exercise, and you won't run out of breath so fast.

It can also cause problems for nonsmokers as well because the smoke can affect their health. They can get second hand smoke, which can kill, and you can get it if you are in a place where there is smoking in your house or even in a work place that allows smoking. Just one cigarette will take 20 minutes off your life. Every time you smoke, it will take more minutes off your life. So why do you want to keep smoking if it is not worth it? Your life is worth more than that, so just quit and you can keep your life.
