Various companies within the health and fitness supplements industry are noticing the trend that more and more people are turning away from plain water to sports and energy drinks or enhanced waters. While most brands promote numerous benefits, such as increased energy or that extra competitive edge, it is important to remember that the main purpose of drinking water is to rehydrate your body and keep it functioning properly, no matter your activity level.

The human body is made up of mostly water and depending on different factors (i.e., how regularly you exercise, as well as your environment and weather), your body will require various amounts of it during the day. For instance, if you have a job that requires you to mostly sit at a desk for long periods of time and then you go straight home after work and don't participate in any exercise routines, your body will most likely not need the volume of water that someone who stands up and walks around a facility during their workday.

Drinking fitness water has been scientifically proven to penetrate the body's cells at a much higher rate, which can rejuvenate they body's system and allow for a boost in energy, as well as aiding in repairing of any damaged cells.

Even if you are not an exercise fanatic or gym rat, drinking fitness water is very beneficial because keeping your body fully hydrated can increase the health of your immune system and assist your mind's focus, as well as enhance your skin's overall appearance and health.
