Among them are spicy foods like chili, fruits like lemon, grapefruit, oranges and citrus and foods high in protein.

If you have not taken in food in the morning, your body begins to conserve energy by slowing down metabolism, thus if you want to burn those fats away and lose weight, never skip the most important meal of the day.

- Avoid alcohol. Alcohol indeed has bad effects on the body and one of them is putting your metabolism off balance. Aside from adding more calories into the diet, alcohol competes with the nutrient absorption in your body and thus putting more calories and macronutrients in your body into storage.
