The common notion of the society is to blame men for snoring because snoring. Some of the major questions that are asked are about men and their snoring and why do we snore, is snoring normal and not a health issues or is snoring a more serious condition than what we think, is snoring a condition or is it a disease, is snoring hereditary or is snoring as common natural. Why is it that snoring occurs more commonly in men than in women? Is snoring just a common notion that occurs in men more often than in women or is there a practical explanation why snoring seen to happen to men more frequently rather than to women specifically?

The most common thing that people mention when talking about sleeping is snoring.

What is snoring?

Snoring is somewhat similar to the same sound that is emitted from our air pathways but snoring makes a louder expression or sound. As we sleep, the unstable flow of air through our passageways causes the tissues of the throat and the nose to move and vibrate which creates the snoring sounds. Snoring is caused by the abnormal movements of the inner tissue walls of the throat that causes the sound and produces the snoring effect.

The size of your tongue or the position of your tongue when you sleep results in the tongue inflicted snore. All genders are capable of snoring and somewhat depends on the health status of ones body. When someone snores in their sleep and changes sleeping positions and his snoring still remains, it is most likely that they have a serious snoring problem.

To some people, having allergies are a part of their lives and they try their best not to encounter anything that will induce an allergic reaction for them. A person who smokes takes in the smoke into his lungs passing through the air pathways and as a result the muscles around the air tracks and passageways tend to relax which eventually causes nasal congestion. Being obese and overweight are big factors that can cause snoring according to research. A person who intakes too much fatty foods and oily foods that can create a fat deposit around the air tracks and pathways will cause the throat to be rigid and thus constricts the air to flow so the air tries to pass through in which creates vibrations and causes snoring to occur. When air is inhaled and exhaled rapidly, it blocks the pathways which causes the throat's tissues to vibrate and causes the snoring sound.

Controlled and uncontrolled factors of snoring

If people watch what they eat, eat less, and eat more healthily then they will not begin snoring.

What foods causes us to snore?

Remember only you can control what you put inside your body so try to avoid those foods that can trigger snoring. In general, try not eat too much of anything that is on the food chain list meaning eat what you know is best for you. Dairy products contains milk that can effect some people and may cause a allergic reaction. A little wheat intake is okay but eating too much wheat is not therefore try to eat it sparingly.

Tips on how to maintain your weight and eating habits to avoid snoring

Eating slowly can help you lessen your food intake. By using smaller bowls and plates, you will eat less than what you normally would consume in one meal time. Eating consciously should be a daily priority of yours and besides that, it is for your own good and can prevent your from snoring in the future. Not being able to focus on eating will make you eat more and make you feel like you have just started eating most times.

What to do when you are snoring severely?

Be alert and watchful as well because you can actually help cure yourself completely of snoring. The snoring prevention methods that your doctor might provide you with may not totally cure you of your snoring, but it will surely lessen your snoring a bit. One way to stop your snoring is before lying on your bed, place an additional pillow to elevate the upper part of your body when you are asleep or if you have one pillow, double it. Losing weight not only help your body to feel lighter but it can diminish your snoring too.
