- Build muscles. No, you don't have to have bodybuilder's muscle but building just the right muscle mass can help you burn fat even after your workout and even at rest. However, you have to remember that aside from weight training to build muscles, you should not forget your regular cardio exercises as these will help you burn existing fats in your body.

- Listen to your body. Probably the simplest favor you can do to your body is to listen to its signals. You listen to your body when you are hungry but most often, you ignore it when you are full. Eat slowly so you won't miss your body's signal that you are indeed full. This will help you avoid overeating, which is a major cause in having that extra weight and unwanted fats.
