There are so many and different types of herpes and they all kind of generate some type of eruption and outbreaks of sores or lesions. Herpes is characterized by two main strains. First is the HSV 1 strain that is known to attack the mouth both inside and outside in many victims. This causes great pain and makes the patient very uncomfortable.

The second symptom of herpes is herpes simplex 2. This strain generally affects the parts of the body that are naturally below the waist. This strain is characteristically spread through sexual contact with an already infected person and causes blisters on the genital organs or the entire surrounding pubic area. In this article, we'll try and analyze most specific types of lesions that are caused by this virus and how they appear in an individual as well as the specific locations of the same.

The gentlest of the symptoms of herpes family members is herpes simplex 1. Despite being claimed as a gentle virus, it has a high probability of being highly contagious with the sores that develop out of it. There is not a cure established by now for HSV 1. Although this category of herpes is predominantly found around the particular parts of the mouth, it also appears in the form of cold sores especially on the genitals. The common blisters or sores occurring around the mouth when one is infected and suffers a cold or flu are of typical HSV 1.

Herpes simplex 2 is usually the most known. It is a very common among the different types of symptoms of herpes. This strain is generally passed through any kind of sexual activity. The blisters occurring from this strain are quite similar to those of the cold sores. The herpes virus that is a major cause of genital herpes is the virus that usually raises most concern. HSV 2 causes severe lesions and blisters on the genital organs and surrounding pubic areas appearing even in the buttocks and the anus in various degrees.

With genital herpes, specifically in males, the eruptions may at times occur on the shaft of the penis, the inner thigh, the genital region, buttocks, or the anus. In females, lesions may as well occur on or near the pubis, vulva, buttocks, labia, clitoris, or anus. This may call for an intense and careful examination. During delivery, a flashlight is usually the main approach which is suggested to help detect the condition. The appearance of these eruptions and the experience of such outbreaks in these areas usually differ according to the health condition of the victim.

The question in many is how you can spot herpes and how it appears. One common symptom of developing herpes is some reddening of the specific affected area. It is very much possible that you could also feel some feverish and possibly have flu like aches and extreme pains regularly. A secretion from the vagina or the penis may also occur and it depicts some signs of possible herpes.
