Having a physically fit body means having a long and healthy life. Physically fit is good for us, but there are reasons why physical fitness is important for us. Adults and children should put into their daily plan some physical activities and integrate these activities that they could enjoy.

Doing regular physical activities reduces early death or having diseases in an early age such as diabetes or heart diseases. A physical activity develops mental thinking and employs into activities needed for daily living.

At all times, when we do some physical fitness activities, we get sick less often. Doing physical activities regularly strengthens our immune system. Physically fit and mentally strong help us to have a long life and avoids early death in adults. Studies show that more than 20,000 men, those who were lean but not physically fit had twice the risk of death as those who were lean and physically fit.

One reason why physical fitness is important is because it keeps your mind sharp. It enhances your brain function which helps in prevention of brain dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Being physically fit also helps us in having a good mood. The feelings of anxiety, anger, depression and loneliness are removed during a workout or physical activity because of the chemicals released into the brain.

Exercising regularly increases your strength and stamina. Physical fitness activities give us more energy and stamina. People say they lose energy when they workout but what they don't realize is that exercise actually gives energy. Having regular activities in life make us more active and allow us to handle better common daily activities such as carrying a bag of groceries or walking home from school.

The bones are maintained to be strong when doing physical activities regularly. Doing weight bearing activities like walking and running can drastically reduces the risk of having osteoporosis, a bone disease due to lack of calcium. People can prevent low back pain by strengthening their lower back and abdominal muscles.

Life is much more exciting and enjoyable when you're physically fit and healthy. You gain more confidence, energy, strength and you are more likely to be productive in everything you do. People are happy when they are healthy and they've got nothing to worry. Physical fitness is important because if we learn to like it and live it, we'll have a life that is worth living.

Why is physical fitness important? It's because it keeps your mind sharp, increases your strength and stamina, you'll keep your bones strong and life is much more exciting and enjoyable.
