I admit it, I'm a Beyonce fan. I've checked out her amazing body and been in love ever since she was in Destiny's Child. I watched Austin Powers Goldmember just to see her sway those hips of hers.
So you can imagine how shocked I was to learn that she is constantly dieting and she has to work hard in order to maintain her body that way. I mean, come on, she's Beyonce, right? She's a goddess and every teenage boys wet dream (well, the straight ones at least - heck, I bet even some of the gay ones think she's hot).
But as it turns out, Beyonce is one of those girls who actually has a genetic predisposition to large hips and she works on herself like crazy in order to maintain the gorgeous curves that you see on the screen. So what is the secret of the Beyonce fitness regime? What the heck does it take for her to be so hot on the screen? I set out to find out.
So it turns out that Beyonce works out five days a week. Now when I say she works out five days a week, I'm not talking about the Jackie Mason style workout (sit on an exercise bike for a couple of minutes "this is not so bad.").
I'm talking about hardcore workouts. She doesn't head to the gym for the saunas; she doesn't go there in order to sit at the health bar drinking fruit juices. Beyonce does some serious work when she runs her fitness regimen.
From what I've read, Beyonce wakes up every morning and eats some cereal for breakfast and then let's it digest. Doesn't sound too bad. I mean after-all, if you don't let your food move nice and slow through your body, you can't possibly expect to let it give you benefit. Of course, Beyonce's fitness regime hasn't started at this point.
By the way, I'm not sure what kind of cereal she actually eats by the way, but my guess would be she's not chowing down on Fruit Loops or Sugar Smacks. For myself, when I'm trying to eat a healthy breakfast, I stick with bran flakes or Fiber 1, so I would say it's a safe bet that if Beyonce needs to keep her shape, she probably does something similar.
Beyonce's fittness regimen begins with some cardio workout. That could include time on an exercise bike, or a treadmill. Maybe even a nice job. Then, I understand that she spends 45 minutes lifting free weights.
Of course, even all that wouldn't be enough if she indulged in all the junk food typical at Hollywood sets. She eats a very light lunch and is constantly on the go.
