Almost everyone wants to figure out what is the best way to remove blackheads, where they are coming from and if there are ways that we can prevent them. We all want to have blackhead-free skin and never let them come back. Truly, these small acne block dots can be removed with ease, and you can prevent further potential outbreaks.

Comedones are another term that can be used for those nasty looking blackheads. Many people may feel ashamed by having a couple of these tiny dots. It has been determined that they are composed of oil, dead skin cells, or any other substance that may cause the pores in our skin to clog.

This might be even an acne problem that does not seem to end, not to mention these things are unsightly! Before, most people believed that improper hygiene may cause blackheads, but today it has been proven that this was all a theory. The dark spots that appear on our skin do not mean that the skin is dirty; it is the oxidization of the dark pigments or commonly known melanin in our skin. If dead skin cells are not removed and have been mixed with oil, there is a possibility that your pores would clog.

It might be because of a small blockage in the pores, which may cause blackheads. Experts consider some other factors when it comes to this particular kind of problem. These factors may include but not limited to food, stress, caffeine, endocrines or internal secretions and may even be environmental. A decreased amount of blackheads may be achieved by not eating certain foods like poultry, coffee, foods rich in sugar, and pork. However, we cannot control the secretion of hormones and we could never tell when we will be stressed out.

Therefore, if preventing blackheads cannot be easily maintained or is somehow impossible to achieve, the thing that we need to know is how to remove blackheads. Make sure that you first ask your doctor before using or applying any medications on your skin. A physician can provide you with a prescription whether it is topical or oral medication to battle acne. For some people is not even required to take antibiotics for blackheads, but sometimes they may also come in handy.

A zinc or retinoid is a possible prescription that your doctor may give. However, you may be asking, how to remove blackheads with products that do not need a doctor's prescription? Most definitely, applying pressure to your skin is the last thing you ever want to do, this will just further damage your skin.

There is a wide range of medications that can be used for this type of situation. It is important that you are knowledgeable about what these medications particularly do. Sulphar, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide are the most common chemicals that you need to find and be aware that every one of those products are used differently.

They can make your skin free from blackheads and eventually never have this issue again. Sulphar mixed with Resorcinol are agents that make the outermost layer of your skin shed, making your skin clearer and eliminate things that block your pores. Definitely, they will remove your blackheads. Benozyl peroxide is also one thing that you may consider to use. It is proven effective, making your skin bacteria free/ regularly use it, but not to a point that it will be used daily as it can cause dryness to your skin.

Being the most proficient product over the counter, Benozoyl peroxide is commonly found in cosmetics such as lotion, gel and even laundry agents including cleansing bar and liquid. Creating a skin care plan everyday is important to know and to better understand how to remove blackheads, resulting in much healthier looking skin.

Do not let your pride be ruined just because of your terrible acne. All that you need to do is to be consistent and apply the correct products. With constant care, your blackheads should vanish in no time.
