The body continually stuns researchers with its ability to self-regulate, to maintain a balance despite all of the poisons and excesses we pump into it, and to heal itself after incredible trauma, after injuries and after stroke. However, scientists are starting to unravel the mechanisms behind at least one of these miracles, the miracle of healing.
Instead of treating injuries and illnesses with drugs and physical aids in the future, a new adult stem cell cure may give the body the ability to heal itself quickly. The potential for stem cell therapy in Thailand, including breast reconstruction in Thailand, hair replacement in Thailand, and stem cell therapy for diabetes is enormous.
The basis for this discovery was laid down several years ago - in 2004 researchers at the University of Washington discovered that adult stem cells help cure wounds by contributing to the formation of new tissue after injury. Previous to this, scientists knew that human adult stem cells travelled ot the site of injury or infection to help destroy unwanted substances in the body. However, they did not previously realize that the human adult stem cells actually became part of the new tissue, morphing into whichever type was needed. They had always assumed that the white blood cells and the stem cells either died after they were no longer needed, or went back into circulation in the bloodstream. Stem cell therapy in Thailand really took off with this discovery.
The new research has showed that it is possible to trick the bone marrow into releasing extra human adult stem cells. In the research, two different types were created, mesechymal stem cells that turn into bone and cartilage in Thailand stem cell therapy, and endothelial progenitor cells, which make up blood vessels and could help with heart disease. Previous studies had only enabled adult stem cell cures for diseases that require new blood cells, adding nothing to diabetes stem cell therapy, stem cell therapy for Parkinson's and stem cell therapy for stroke.
The researchers expect that stem cell therapy in Thailand will now be able to selectively treat heart disease or bodies after injury, by helping repair the damaged blood vessels. The fact that they can selectively release mesenchymal stem cells also indicates that immune disorders may be treated with Thailand stem cell therapy, like rheumatoid arthritis.
The researchers are now looking at stem cell treatments that mobilize different types of human adult stem cells. Dr Sarah Rankin, the study's corresponding author, said that "We hope that by releasing extra stem cells.we could potentially call up extra numbers of whichever stem cells the body needs. Our work could lead to new treatments to fight various diseases and injuries which work by mobilizing a person's own stem cells from within".
