Fad diets will never make you lose weight. If you want proof look for anyone who has ever tried to lose weight by using fad diets and see just how far they have come to realizing there goal. It is very hard to believe that fad diets cannot help you lose weight especially since many nutritional experts insist that this approach is the best way to achieve fast weight loss coupled with steroids.

In order to lose weight and still maintain sound health you need to stay clear of steroids because they will make you experience various side effects. Some of the side effects include; enlargement of the clitoris, shrinking testicles, low libido, low sperm count, impotence in men, loss of hair, growth of facial hair in women, coarse voice in women, irregularity in there menstrual cycle, increase in aggression, heart problems, liver conditions, kidney problems and sleeping disorders.

Most of the companies which come up with the fad diets and steroids to make you achieve fast weight loss will compromise your health.

What most fad diets recommend is that you reduce your calorie intake drastically. As soon as you reduce your calorie intake drastically you will force your body to go into starvation mode. When the body is in starvation mode it will start to conserve energy and in order to do this it will start burning muscles instead of body fat.

This will cause the percentage of your body muscles to deplete. As a result of the depletion of body muscles your body metabolism is going to slow down. If your metabolism slows down you will not be able to burn a lot of calories and this will make you gain weight.

Fad diets therefore will make you gain weight because of two reasons the first on being it compromises your body metabolism and the second reason is that it increases your food cravings.

Fad diets will therefore never work because of the reasons below;

1. Your Muscle Percentage Decreases As A Result Of The Fad Diets

The fad diets require you to reduce your calorie intake and in order to do this you need to reduce the carbohydrates in your diet. Carbohydrates are normally the best source of fuel for the body and when there percentage decreases the body will start to eat up the protein reserve so that it can be able to generate energy. This means there will be very little proteins left to build proteins since most of it will be used to generate energy. Proteins are the building blocks of muscles and if there reserve is compromised you will not be able to build a lot of muscles.

2. Such Diets Reduce A Person's Metabolism

As explained earlier fad diets will make your body to go into starvation mode and this has the effect of making your body to go into starvation mode. This lowers your lean body muscles and as a result your body metabolism also slows down. You are thus unable to burn a lot of calories and this makes you gain weight instead of losing it.
