Being one of the most common diseases which does not have any straight treatment it is always best to prevent flu. If infected then get the treatment to shorten the span or lessen the intensity. As flu results into lot of fatigue and make one feel a lot irritable and uncomfortable it is very important that it should be prevented following all the required basic prevention methods. The utmost important aspect is to get vaccinated for flu. Vaccinations enable the immunity system fight against the germs and viruses which if ignored can lead to serious problems.

Being proactive has always been beneficial and in the case of flu it is extremely desirable. During fall and rainy seasons flu viruses attack the maximum. Moreover change of weather also makes the transition accompanied by minor ailments of which flu is the most common. It is always advisable that certain precautions should be undertaken to fight the flu viruses which are very contagious and infect the human system very easily.

The germs or virus are innumerable and ubiquitous. They can be any where and everywhere. Thus strict measures should be adopted to avoid any intake be it fruits, or vegetables, either in raw or cooked form with dirty or infected hands. As flu spreads by direct contact, it is very important to wash hands with an antiseptic soap, before taking any meal. Virus can be on the keyboard, mobile phone, utensils or in fact any object prone to be exposed to them.

During flu, sneeze and cough gets automatically activated. Human body exposes or discharges the viruses through them. Thus it is very important to handle sneeze with tissue or a handkerchief and never cover it with your hands. Drinking plenty of fluids is also a good option to prevent flu. Fluids wash the entire system and help flush the toxins and accumulated virus stack out of the body system.

Inhaling therapy is surely a relaxing and most soothing way to prevent flu. If steam with a drop of eucalyptus or menthol oil, is inhaled regularly not only will it clear the entire choked system it will also give a rejuvenated spirit. Inhaling fresh air also helps in the intake of lot of oxygen and in a way help in fighting or preventing the flu viruses.

Smoking and alcohol make the human system get prone to lot of infections and should definitely be avoided. Other flu prevention techniques could be taking ample rest and avoid stress. Stress always decreases the immunity system of a person and leads to lot of infections. Keeping the environment neat and clean with a balanced and healthy diet, does help in preventing flu to a very great extent. Thus if you want to prevent flu, you should definitely follow these prevention methods. After all, prevention is always better than cure.
