Moreover maintaining the correct body temperature is very important. Intake of warm or hot liquids, appropriate head cover and refraining oneself from any cold intake proves very beneficial. Steam acts as a real therapeutic treatment as it clears the congestion leading to flu. Inhaling steam at regular intervals is one of the best treatments one can take for fighting flu.

Thus flu treatment can vary from certain anti viral drugs which can only shorten the duration of flu, and it is always better to prevent flu by following the simple yet effective precautions.
