While there are some benefits to working in some jobs, there are other benefits you might consider with other careers. If you are a pharmacist, you may find yourself stuck in a job where you rarely get vacation time and when you do, you never go anywhere. When working a federal pharmacy job, you will find the job is much like a vacation in itself.
With a federal pharmacy job, you can travel to any state you want while you work and will be paid for it. Retail pharmacists are eligible for clinic or outpatient hospital jobs and can work in any state as the federal facilities do accept valid Pharmacist licenses from any state. They will even pay travel expenses for you while you relocate to the desired state. Lodgings and weekly food budget is paid out to you as well as your hourly wages.
With very minimal to no late hours or weekend shifts, you may find yourself free to sight see and enjoy the local activities. If you find yourself missing your spouse and loved ones, you are free to bring them along, however their travel costs will not be paid. When you decide you wish to take on a different location, papers will be faxed to you, when you have agreed to it, your travel arrangements will be made for you.
When you work thirty to forty hours a week, you are entitled to vacation bonuses beginning at approximately fifteen hundred dollars. You are permitted to use this money wherever you see fit to use it. Perhaps a vacation or put it in your savings account for an emergency. Speaking of emergencies, federal pharmacists will receive an advanced package for their health care benefits. They will also be able to investing into 401k bonds or stocks if they so chose to.
In place is a License Reciprocity Reimbursement Program, in which pharmacists may chose to purchase pharmacy licenses in the state that you are working in. If you have worked a minimum of five hundred and twenty hours, you may be eligible to receive four hundred dollars back for any license you chose to purchase. As a result you can have licenses for each state that you work in.
One thing that the company does encourage is referrals. If you know someone who would like to work in this type of environment, you can refer that person. When they have worked a thirteen week assignment, you will earn a one hundred dollar bonus if they are a technician, or a one hundred and fifty dollar bonus if they are a pharmacist.
If they have decided to take a permanent position, you will receive a two hundred dollar bonus. If you refer a thirteen week or more job opening to RPh on the Go you can get a bonus of five hundred dollars. It is a great way to earn a little extra cash to save up or spend.
Seeing the country as you make money, now that sounds like it could be the dream job for just about anyone. With many benefits that are offered and incentives to recruit friends and co-workers, there are ways to add a little extra income to your paychecks.
