Guava is one of the refreshing fruits you can taste. Even the smell of this fruit has a fragrant aroma and provides the intense feeling of refreshing deliciousness. The name is even exotic. Guava's colors range from green to yellow and dark purple and the fruit's flavor can range from tart to sweet.

Here's how to eat a guava to experience its unique and delicious taste:

First step: Get an ideal and ripe guava.

Having an ideal and ripe guava gives us the real refreshing taste in every bite. We better pick the right one to get the full satisfaction we are finding in a guava. Gently squeeze the fruit and see if it gives the aroma. If yes, the fruit is perfect for eating.

Second step: Clean the fruit with a tap water and remove small dirt and crevices seen in the fruit.

Cleaning the fruit is one of the steps to enjoy more your favorite fruit. Having it cleaned you can also eat the skin of the guava which provides us plenty of vitamin C. It provides an aftertaste but judge it yourself. Clean it carefully and eat it lusciously.

Third step: Cut the guava in half and scoop out the sweets.

You can choose whether you want to bite it or cut the fruit and mix the sweets with the other sweets. The guava seeds and its skin are so edible. You can slice the fruit and put it on a refrigerator to have a snack on the go.

Fourth step: Eat everything.

Don't leave any traces behind and eat every part of the fruit. The whole fruit is nutritious and delicious. The added bonus on the fruit is that you can enjoy everything. It has the skin that gives plenty of Vitamin C. The flesh which is the main course and the central part which consists of seeds that is hard but is good to eat.

Guava is also great for appetizers and great addition for greens or salads you considered for serving. Having it as an appetizer, you can do it by dipping it on a honey or melted cream cheese. For more exotic but refreshing goodies, try slicing some strawberries, oranges, peaches and topped with guavas.

Every variety of guavas is flavored differently. Having the guava's color range from greenish tones, to yellow, to as dark as purple-black. The flesh of the fruit may be red or creamy white. Sometimes, their skin is smooth or rough.
