The head is one of the most delicate area yet it is one of the most vital division of the human body. It has the duty of directing all our bodily functions, the way we think, behave and perform in our surroundings. With all these duties at hand, the brain can sometimes experience aches and pains which may disrupt a person's regular daily functions. Headaches signals that there is a malfunction at some location in the body or in the nervous system.

millions of people suffer from constant headaches throughout their lives. Headaches that occur constantly over an extended period of time are referred to as chronic headaches and can often be identified with a pulsating pain in the skull that can either affect one or both sides of the brain. Headaches are often connected to tension build up in the body. Tension builds up in the body as a result of tightness in the muscles of the head, neck, shoulders, back, jaw, scalp or any other section that can be forced to become stressed. Unhealthy sleep patterns, stress whether from home, at work or emotional stress with family, depression, anxiety are all factors that lead to tension in the body. Persons with constant headaches can also be connected to stomach problems and sensitive to light and sound and can lead to them feeling dizzy and nauseas.

Sleep is vital in rejuvenating the body and is one of the body's best therapeutic treatments. A good night's rest can make the difference between a long day of constant headaches or a whole day of optimal performance. Whenever the body lacks sleep it automatically decreases your ability to work effectively and builds up a lot of stress which causes you to have constant headaches. Exercising often can also help individuals to relax more and also aids you to rest easier. Exercise boost the blood and oxygen circulation, takes care of the muscles which equals to less tension in the body, which lessens the chances of you feeling a headache.

A persons daily diet can be connected to having constant headaches. A diet with little fibers, fruits, vegetables and vitamins and plenty fluid is leading up to constant headaches. Individuals should make sure that their diet is filled with all the vitamins and minerals needed to make the body work at its best. There are also certain foods that are more likely to trigger off headaches, especially if you are sensitive to certain foods. Dairy foods such as chocolate, cheese are known to set off migraine headaches and flavor enhancers like MSG.

Consuming too much caffeine can also start off constant headaches. Caffeine is normally taken to increase awareness and provide energy for a long day, but excessive use can lead to overwhelming anxiety and constant headaches. Substances found in your surroundings can cause headaches such as the carbom monoxide which exhaust from a vehicle. Migraine headaches may also be due to depression, high blood pressure, eye problems, and allergies and can cause nausea. There is also what is considered as cluster headaches caused from head trauma, such as those from an accident, brain tumors, seizures, strokes and inflamed arteries and other sicknesses.

The best way to treat constant headaches is to avoid elements that will lead it to happen. Pain medicine can help to minimize pain but excessive use can still lead to more pain. For severe cases of constant headaches, like those that continue forever there are holistic remedies on the market for it, and in some rare cases even surgery is used.
