Everyone knows that staying fit and healthy is important. You feel better physically, emotionally, and mentally when your body is physically fit. It affects all aspects of your life. However, not everyone has the time to put in a good workout every day. For people who are busy juggling careers, school, or kids, it may seem like there is no extra time to fit in a good workout and healthy meals, but that isn't true. If you make working out a priority, you'll be amazed at how you can fit it into your busy schedule.

If you work in an office, you may be used to taking a bus, taxi, subway or simply driving to work daily. You can add exercise to your day by walking or biking to work on a daily basis if you live close enough. Another great way to get exercise on your daily work routine is to take the stairs.

If you work in a building with several stories, taking the stairs instead of the elevator can be a great way to get some exercise on your way to work. Even if you work in a building with so many stories that taking the stairs would take too long, you can still walk up a few flights of stairs before taking the elevator to your floor. You'll be surprised at how much this can improve your health as you do it on a daily basis.

If you are the owner of a dog, you have a perfect excuse to keep you and your dog healthy. Dogs need exercise on a daily basis. Take your dog out on a walk. A great way to get a little more exercise in your routine is to pick up the pace. If you are used to taking your dog on a casual walk, increase your pace to a brisk walk. Or for even more of an exercise challenge, start running with your dog. It may take some training at first, but eventually you will see great results.

Cleaning the house can also be a great way to get a little exercise. It may seem surprising but mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming are all great exercises that can get your heart pumping as your body works. Scrubbing walls, toilets, or showers is also a great way to get some exercise. These household chores are a great way to burn calories while accomplishing tasks on your to-do list.

When it comes to nutrition, the best way to fit it into your schedule is not to leave it up to chance. Preparing your lunches and taking them with you to work will ensure that you are controlling your eating. Vitamin supplements and sports nutrition supplements can help enhance your nutrition as well. Exercising and eating right doesn't have to take up a lot of your time. You can exercise while accomplishing your day-to-day tasks and chores.
