Have you ever encountered days in your life when you are simply sitting down, doing your job as best as you can but somehow it takes everything out of you? This is usually what we call burn out when even we are just doing the usual things to do we still feel too exhausted. What experts recommend during times like this is to go through personal development training. This training will basically teach you in becoming your own self-coach to get you through or avoid this overbearing burn out. Being your own coach has been proven effective to avoiding exhaustion through work.

Whenever you feel that even though you are so focused in your work but something is pulling away your energy, then transform yourself to being your own coach so you can fix it and prevent it from recurring again. You need to take note though that when self coaching, you are not just the coach but you are the team as well. Some other things you need to take note in this training include the following.

You have to get to know yourself better first. You need to be realistic; you need to learn that no one will ever appreciate you more than you appreciate yourself.

Next step is you need to evaluate your strengths and weaknesses. Once weaknesses are identified, you can view this as obstacles in your road which you can overcome through time as you grow, change, and develop your work. It is quite difficult during the first few times but you need to give yourself an honest appraisal. This is the only way you can pinpoint your weaknesses and strong points. For your strengths, continue to develop them and make them work in a way that it also solves or help you on your weak points.

Provide yourself with your own set of incentives. Though you may not want to admit it, but your workplace is like a second home to you. So to give yourself more motivation, put some portraits of your kids, your wife, or any of your family members to get you inspired. You can also plan some get away trips with your friends and family for something to look forward to.

If you have been sitting on your chair all day doing your job, you need to give yourself a break to get your circulation moving by standing up and do some stretching. If you have been looking at your computer screen for quite some time, then look out the window enjoy the view to let your eyes relax for a few moments. If your job requires you to concentrate consistently, do the exact opposite by playing on some very simple game you enjoy or grab a stress ball.

Experts always advise to put things into perspective. You always need to remember that you have reached where you are right now not by doing everything right; in fact it is our mistakes that make us better. Most importantly, have fun in your job, tell jokes and enjoy the company of your colleagues.
