In a woman's life, there will come a time when they will wonder when the stork would come and visit them. Some would actually want it to happen so badly but couldn't seem to make one with their spouses and some just keep on having one without even carefully planning for it or without expecting for one. Having a baby is such a wonderful thing and it is the reason why women would want to know all about pregnancy so that they can prepare for the coming of their beloved little ones.

One of the very first information a woman should know about in pregnancy is to know whether you are pregnant or not. It is important to know telltale signs of becoming pregnant so that you would know what to expect when you become one. It would also tell you when you should buy a pregnancy test kit and consult your doctor.

Symptoms of pregnancy vary from woman to woman as well as from pregnancy to pregnancy. The only way to confirm whether or not you are pregnant is with a pregnancy kit and finally your doctor. If you are wondering why you haven't had your monthly period yet, do not get overjoyed or distressed assuming that you are already pregnant since it is possible that it has just been delayed or you have just been experiencing pre-menstrual symptoms which could very well be similar to the early stages of pregnancy symptoms.

If you are not trying to get pregnant and you feel that your period is just around the corner, don't feel so relieved yet because it just might be the opposite and it turns out that you are indeed pregnant. It is important to know and distinguish the common symptoms then so that you would know what steps you would need to take next.

One of the common signs of being pregnant is fatigue since your body is working double time to host another person's life. If you are indeed pregnant, you need not be afraid to take regular naps every now and then since your body will need it. Make it a point to sleep earlier every night and avoid exhausting activities.

Another symptom to watch out for is the darkening of your nipples and your breast may begin to feel a bit more sensitive than before and might hurt a little. This is because your body is preparing itself by getting milk flowing to the breasts.

Feeling dizzy and even fainting are also considered as symptoms in the early stages of pregnancy, this is usually accompanied by nausea or what is commonly called as morning sickness. Though it is called that, it does not necessarily means that it only happens during the morning, it can happen anytime of the day.

If you are feeling most of the symptoms mentioned above then you should be happy for being pregnant is a blessing and you don't need to worry about the symptoms since most of them would be gone after the first trimester of your pregnancy.
