So many issues go unresolved due to people ignoring them or incorrectly diagnosing them. It is always advisable to ask your doctor about any symptoms you may be experiencing. Many ailments share similar symptoms which is why it is important to double check your diagnosis for any type of syndrome or illness.

Adrenal fatigue is a result of the adrenal glands not functioning as they should be. The cause for this syndrome is usually associated with severe amounts of stress as well as chronic infections in the body. There are more than thirty different symptoms associated with this syndrome. As the name suggests, chronic fatigue and exhaustion is the most common and noticeable one.

Many people who deal with being tired can simply get some much-needed sleep and be fine the next day. When it comes to this syndrome, another symptom is that sleep does not seem to refresh the person who is dealing with their chronic exhaustion. Whether you sleep soundly or you have insomnia, any amount of sleep does not seem to help those who suffer with adrenal fatigue. Restless sleep and insomnia are both symptoms that have been linked to this syndrome.

A certain amount of anxiety and inability to cope with situations is another possible symptom associated with this issue. Of course, anxiety by itself would not indicate adrenal fatigue, but when combined with other symptoms such as craving salty foods or craving sweet foods, it is recommended that one checks with their doctor for an accurate diagnosis as those are other symptoms that have been linked with this syndrome.

Just as those with migraine headaches suffer with sensitivity to light, so can those with adrenal fatigue. Yet another symptom would include having difficulty with concentrating. Of course, when anyone has an extremely low amount of energy, it is difficult for them to concentrate. Many of the known symptoms are a direct result of the main symptom which is chronic fatigue. Poor digestion or even IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) are other possible symptoms that could also be associated with adrenal syndrome. Such a condition should not be left untreated as there are suggested supplements and nutrition guidelines that can be followed to improve the condition.

Ideally, this condition would be discovered before it began to really cause problems in your life. The only way to do so is to watch for the symptoms and let your doctor know of any irregularities you may be dealing with. The symptoms in this article along with many others can help you to know if you suffer from adrenal fatigue syndrome.
