Body building is a process that takes great concentration and efforts on exercises. Since one uses great amounts of energy and also the tissues, it is important to think of the best reward to offer the body, and this narrows down to giving it enough rest through sleep and feeding it properly. It should be made clear that, extreme work outs do not help in any way and if at all there is a choice to make of joining friends in a party and sleeping after a work out, one would rather go for the later, it is what will work for successful body building. Since one made a choice to try out body building, it is wise to keep other issues aside that may hinder a person from taking enough rest even if it means compromising and doing away with some.

Friends are the greatest danger to this and mostly they influence the body building practices, they come up with plans that are at times too good to refuse. But if one wants to be successful in body building this should never be an issue to rely on. Let all the friends know on the progress of your work outs, probably even the program of exercises and show the pride and relevance regarding them. Surely, they will not insist upon any breaks on the individual's routines, if at all they are respectable friends and people of integrity.

Recovery time is approximated to be 8 hours of deep sleep in a night and therefore this routine should be emphasized. It is not logical on the other hand to recover sleep on a single day. This is so because some people tend to oversleep in a single day even lasting for 12-14 hours thinking that they would have covered the recovery time. All this is in vain and unless one makes the uniformity a continuous process then it won't work in any way. If you do all these, the recovery for the day you engage in less sleep is altered and muscles are still left destroyed and this cannot be called healthy body building.

There are five stages of an individual's sleep. Some people hardly go through the first or second stages of it because they are filled with a lot of stresses and headaches to handle. In the long run, they wake up feeling tired and even weak than before. It is always advisable to try practicing deep breathing skills, cool meditation, and other means that may work to reduce stress before sleeping. At least through this, they reach the fourth or fifth stage of the sleep which is vital for healing, repairing, and growing of body tissues and muscles.

However, basing on the fact that, people cannot always get to this kind of sleep, and it is important to reduce work outs so that when one sleeps, it can be possible and enough to repair the worn out tissues and also regain strength for the other work out scheduled for the next day.
