Pregnancy is one of the things that happen in a woman's life where she needs to be extra careful on the things that she is doing which includes all the activities she does every day to make sure that she and the baby will be able to go through the whole process safely and in a healthy way. This is the time when you need to follow your practitioner's advice all the time. You also need to take extra care in maintaining your health since your health will also be shared by the baby inside you. You need to prioritize yourself and your baby first perhaps putting you and the baby first above anything else. To go through the whole process of pregnancy safely found below are pregnancy & baby care tips that should help you.

1. One of the things that you need to take care of is your health during pregnancy. Therefore, if you smoke, you need to stop it preferably before you get pregnant if not at least at the time when you see tell-tale signs of your pregnancy. Smoking is certainly not good for you and the baby's health. Even passive smoking can also affect you both in a great way therefore avoid places where there are a lot of people smoking and tell your friends and relatives not to smoke when they are around you. It should also be noted that since you are already a mother, when you stop smoking during your pregnancy it should remain like that even when you are done giving birth to your child. Some mothers return to smoking after pregnancy which could still affect your kid's health and take note that you are your child's first role model therefore it would be best if your baby does not see you smoking or smell the smoke's foul odor on your clothes.

2. Once you realize you are pregnant make an appointment right away for prenatal care since it is very important for your unborn child's health. Your doctor will then set prenatal appointments for you which you should not dare miss. This is to make sure that there are no problems in you pregnancy and if there are any, the sooner the doctors can detect it, the better it is for you and the baby.

3. Check with your doctor if it is advisable for you to do some exercise routines since there are certain circumstances when it is not good. If it is though, check with him what kinds of routines are safe and beneficial for you. Exercising during your pregnancy will increase your recovery rate after giving birth, reduce the need for caesarian, reduce the time spent in labour, and improve your overall health.

Follow these simple pregnancy & baby care tips and make sure that you have prepared your things when you are nearing your expected date of giving birth. Preparation is the key for a more successful and enjoyable pregnancy. Always ask your spouse for assistance and remember that you do not need to go about this alone use your support group as much as you can since they are also anticipating the arrival of your baby.
