One of the hindrances that many people face in their fight against obesity and their goals towards weight loss is the lack of motivation. These days, you can actually draw motivation from other people who are also trying to get back in shape, and in fact, you can work out with them. One of the ways to do this is to join exercise boot camps that allow you to exercise outdoors and with other participants as well.

What is good with exercise boot camps is the fact that you can enjoy the outdoors while working out and you will not feel tired of going to the same boring routine at the gym. Aside from breaking the monotony of your exercise routine, you can also enjoy the company of others who are aiming to achieve goals such as yours.

These fitness camps which are usually composed of 6 to 10 individuals do their exercises together and usually, it will start of with an early morning run or sprint and followed by other cardiovascular exercises and even plyometrics. Of course, it depends on the type of boot camp that you want to get involved with. Aside from those that target weight loss, there are also camps that focus only on just staying fit.

If you join exercise boot camps, you will usually do your exercises in open spaces like the backyard, parks, or climbing mountains or hills - there are actually a lot o places that you can do your exercises. Typically, it will start with some warm-up exercises which involves some stretching and flexibility exercises.

Most often, the exercises involves some push-ups, squats, lunges as well as sprints, exercises that focus and develop your core strength as well as obstacle courses that allow you to enjoy a game-like exercise. It may also involve the use of light exercise equipment such as dumbbells, medicine ball, or some little weights that may help you in your workout.

Of course, your exercise camp trainer will assess your needs before you do the workout and you may need to see your doctor as well before you go to these fitness camps. This will also guide you and your trainer to make the program fit to your weight loss goals or just for staying fit.

Of course, boot camps also assess and measure your results to keep track of what you have done and what you have achieved with your personal goals.

Exercise camps have become popular these days as there are also a good number of people who find fast results in this fun and exciting way to exercise. In fact, with the circuit training type of exercises used in boot camps that involves cardiovascular exercises as well as weight training, you can indeed achieve good results.

The intense exercises also involves your entire body even at a short time only, which is one reason that you will be able to reap better results. Exercise boot camps these days have also developed into a camp to encourage people to attain their goals and not the military camp-type that will intimidate you to exercise, and of course, it is a lot fun as well.
