It has been found that a company that takes special care of its employees has a greater success as it promotes greater loyalty. Many companies pay very well, but it seems to be the little extra perks that make the difference between a work place and a work place family. Our company is going to buy spa gift certificates for our employees here in Minnesota and we are checking to see what is available for the best price with the most services offered.
We have found that going to a spa helps with the stress that we are all having on the job right now with a decreased work force and more work for everyone to complete. The human resources department is in the process of deciding on the several spa packages offered but have not decided if that is the best way to serve the employees. It might be better to give a gift certificate each month and let the recipients decide what services they desire.
In other areas of the country we have also given yoga classes to our employees and have found that to be helpful, but feel that at this location a spa with several services would be a better idea. We are looking for a Minnesota spa that also provides a beauty shop that provides all kinds of hair cutting and coloring services for the people who would not like a massage. Some people also like getting a manicure or pedicure. This can be used as an incentive, especially for the employees who must do a lot of traveling so that they can look professional in meetings all over the country.
There are younger employees who do not travel and some that are expecting babies, and they all work equally hard for us so massage services would be a good idea for them. Many Minnesota spas that provide services for weddings or for couples like facials, pedicures, massages and hair styling. Some companies also have spa parties for more people at the same time so we could book one of those first to introduce our employees to the services. Some would prefer to go with friends from work, right after work or on the weekend when they have some extra free time. For the parties, there could be snacks of fruit and local gourmet cheese and crackers and the spa can serve that to the employees for us.
