What is going on with these acai berry supplements? One day there is nothing really going on with them and then all of a sudden there is this huge health explosion. These supplements have been said to give energy, help weight loss and some even say it can cure acne.

These supplements were once only found in a health and fitness store. Now major retail stores and grocery stores have begun to carry them and even have their own brand. The supplements seem to provide more of an opportunity for a benefit as opposed to the acai being in a beverage.

This is not the first fruit, berry or root coming from the Amazon that provides a health benefit. Many people are using this supplement as a weight loss enhancer. The one thing that is stated by numerous individuals is that the berry gives them more energy.

Just being able to try the effects of the berry are now more affordable. The supplements have come down in price from the first time the berry was introduced. If trying it for the claims of detoxifying and energy boosts then make sure to follow the directions that are listed on the container. Also, give the trial of supplements a reasonable amount of testing time. If it is the first time using this supplement then give it at least a month. That way there can be at least a month of data to quantify the effects of the supplement. Also keep a written record of the results. If you are looking for more energy, then monitor your energy levels daily using a one to ten chart. Ten can be the highest amount of energy and one can be the lowest.

Most testimonials have mentioned that the acai berry acts as an appetite suppressant. This can in fact aid in weight loss. There is no guarantee to losing weight, because of the differences in individuals determination and metabolism.
