Exercises That Make You Lose Weight While Sitting

1. Be A 'Squatting Typist'

One method for you to lose some weight even if you're a typist, or your duties require you to make use of the computer for 8 hours or more in a day, is for you to spend a few minutes squatting while you're typing or doing paperwork, instead of actually sitting on a chair. By doing squats at work, you'll be able to stretch the muscles and strengthen them at the same time. In the event that you are unable to squat for a long period of time, you can sit on a medicine ball instead, which will also aid you to get fit while you sit, as well as improve your posture.

2. Work those calves

To workout your muscles, specifically your calves, you just have to plant your feet firmly on the floor while you are seated, then, proceed to raising your heels, then, slowly lower into starting position. To do the said rolls, you just have to ensure that your shoulders are relaxed, then, tilt your head in a downward position, then rotate your head for a few times. Doing leg stretches, one after the other, is also recommended for toning those muscles even while you're sitting.

Exercising even while you're surfing the Internet, writing, facing your net book, and so on, is possible. By performing the above mentioned work-outs, you'll find it easier to get fit while you sit.
