There are many simple, easy, and non-time consuming things you can do to increase the level of health that your life is at. These healthy habits can extend the length of your life and tremendously increase your level of happiness throughout life.

One of the healthy habits is to make sure you protect your skin. As soon as we are born, our body begins to age.

In particular, our skin begins to age. Think of how soft and smooth the skin of a new born is and rough and callused the skin on your hands may be.

The look of our skin is one of the greatest indicators of age. The best way to stay looking younger longer is to stay out of the sun.

The sun produces ultraviolet rays, commonly referred to as UV rays, which are responsible for causing wrinkles, dryness, and age spots. Many people know that the sun can damage the skin, but they usually associate it with overexposure to the sun.

Overexposure to the sun causes sunburn, skin texture changes, dilated blood vessels, and skin cancer. If skin cancer goes untreated too long, it can be life threatening and can dramatically shorten your life as well as the lifetime of your youthful look.

The best way to protect your skin from the sun is to stay out of the sun. However, this is impossible with the busy lives that American lead.

The second best way to protect your skin from the sun is to wear sunscreen with at least an SPF of fifteen. It is also helpful to wear a hat with a brim and other protective clothing.

Many teenagers sunbathe to achieve an ideal tan during the summer. However, this is very harmful to the skin.

It is best to stay out of the sun between ten in the morning and three in the afternoon if possible. Protecting yourself from the sun is a great way to lead a healthier life.

Another healthy habit is to snack in a healthy manner. The best snacks are always fruits and vegetables.

Fruits and vegetables are known to lower the risk of developing cancer, reduce the signs of aging, improve memory, help your heart stay healthy, and boost your immune system.

Contrary to popular belief, snacking is actually good for you and can help you lose weight. By snacking on healthy items, such as fruits and vegetables, you will hold off the hunger pains so that you do not overeat at meal time.

Fruits and vegetables are also very high in nutrients and vitamins. Water and milk are also an essential part of the diet and can also help you lose weight.

Water is vitally important to the human body. A human will become weaker and weaker and die in as little as three days without water.

Everyone is different in how much water they need. Water is used to allow joints to move and many other basic bodily functions need it in order to work properly.

If your body does not get enough water, it will hold onto every drop of water it still has. This water will add to your weight.

However, when the body gets enough water again, it will release the excess water. In addition, the calcium found in milk is vital strong bones and teeth.

Research has proved that the calcium will also prevent high blood pressure, kidney stones, heart disease, and colon cancer. While milk contains a lot of fat, studies have shown that the consumption of milk actually encourages weight loss.

Another excellent healthy habit that everyone should incorporate into their life is exercise. Exercise is becoming increasing more convenient.

There is also a wider and wider variety of exercises that the public can participate in. Some of the most recent convenient types of exercise that have been developed include the exercise bike, the treadmill, and the elliptical.

For example, a mother can easily sit down on an exercise bike at home and still be able to easily monitor her children. She will not even have to drive to a local gym.

Some of the things exercise can help you with include weight loss and maintenance of healthy bones, muscles, and joints. High blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, and premature death are also much smaller concerns for exercisers because their risk for developing these things is much lower.

There are many more benefits that exercise provides in both the short and the long term. These healthy habits can greatly increase your happiness and enjoyment of life.
