Many individuals use easy self hypnosis without even realizing it, for those wanting to claim some of the benefits it has though, deeper learning and practice should be taken into consideration.

The state of deep concentration connected to self hypnosis is called "trance" and is often misunderstood by other people believing that it is more related to meditation instead.

But regardless of these tidbits of information, the fact still remains that the benefits one can have when using self hypnosis can be tremendous, not to mention there isn't any side effects associated with it.

So, want to try out self hypnosis? Here are some simple steps you can use:

Find a relaxing and quiet place where you will be able to go undisturbed for about an hour. Self hypnosis can be difficult in starting as you will need all the concentration that you have in order to achieve trance. Phone calls, door bells, vehicle noises and other distractions can easily break your concentration so it would be best to stay away from them for the meantime.

As you get more proficient the time you need as well as the conditions in where you will be able to do them will change, allowing you to enjoy a deeper state of relaxation wherever you may be, but until then, a quiet place will be your best choice.

Choose a comfortable position to be in when doing self hypnosis. Some people prefer to sit while concentrating, others will lie down in order to achieve trance successfully. Regardless of whatever position you might prefer, try to be in a position as you can as much as possible when doing the exercise.

Close your eyes and try to block out the outside world. Once you've successfully accomplished this, work on your inner thoughts next. Block out negative feelings such as fear, stress, anxiety and others.

If you find thoughts slowly creeping back in, try not to obsess in eliminating them, allow it to flow through your system and then just let it slip away. This will be prove to be somewhat difficult to accomplish on the first few tries, but just keep going at it.

Take slow deep breaths and concentrate on relaxing each and every part of your body. Start with the toes and then move your way up. Concentrate all of your attention to the body part that you are trying to relax.

Once you've successfully done all the necessary preparations, you can then start to move on the feelings or affirmations that you want to strengthen. Focus on positive statements instead of negative ones and do it one at a time.

In actuality, there is no such thing as easy self hypnosis. If you are beginner, most likely you would run into trouble when starting. But as long as you are able to keep practicing, things will start to get easier and better.
