When it comes to flattening your chest, its important to exercise on a regular basis. However, traditional exercise is not enough to get rid of man boobs. You will need to perform specific exercises for gynecomastia if you want to flatten your chest. Below are some very good exercises for gynecomastia that you can do at home.

1. Diamond Push Ups - Kneel down with all four and position your hands to look like a diamond. Lift yourself off the ground by straightening your knees and elbows. Next, bend your elbows gently till your chest is half an inch off the ground. Hold for 1 second and then straighten your elbows. You will want to perform this exercise as many times as you feel comfortable.

Note: The last few difficult reps are the ones that will work your chest the most. Therefore, do your best not to give up too soon.

2. Swimming - The breast stroke is a very important swimming technique that can help you reduce chest fat. The first thing you need to do is put your legs close together and pull them toward the chest. At the same time your hands should be close to your chest as if you are praying. Kick your legs apart and then squeeze them together. Once you kick your legs, you want to extend your arms and glide. You will want to glide for a moment and then repeat the movement again.

Note: When you're bringing your hands and feet toward your chest, its almost like you are making a heart shape with your hands.

3. Chest Flies - This is where you lay down on a bench and take a pair of dumbbells. Hold the dumbbells in your hands. Then, extend your arms to the sides and slowly bring them close together above your chest. This is one of the top exercises for gynecomastia because it targets areas of the chest that other exercises do not.

Note: Its important to not confuse this exercise with a dumbbell press. With chest flies, you are not pressing straight in the air but rather bringing the dumbells together from the sides.

These are some really good exercises for gynecomastia. Of course there are many others that you can learn. Its important to understand that exercises for gynecomastia are not the only solution to flattening your chest. Your diet plays an important part in your results. Also, gynecomastia can be caused by hormonal imbalance which means that you will need to eat foods that do not trigger male estrogen production.

When trying to lose man boobs, you need to focus on cardio and resistance exercises. With cardio exercises, its important to perform them at a certain intensity that will put your body in the fat burning zone. Otherwise, your body will be in the aerobic state. With resistance exercise, you need to do more reps with lower resistance.
