Men who have Gynecomastia are always looking for the next best way to get rid of man boobs. With so many different products, gadgets and programs on the market, it is not a wonder that most men become confused. Every pill claims to be the best way to get rid of man boobs, but does it really?

In my opinion, there is no single best way to solve Gynecomastia. The first thing you have to find out is why you have them before you can find the best way to get rid of man boobs. It's important to understand that finding the cause will make it easier for you to find a solution.

Gynecomastia can be caused by many things that include prescription medication, obesity, poor diet, lack of exercise, hormonal imbalance, aging, puberty, alcoholism, stress, injury and some others. Many Gynecomastia cases have to do with hormonal imbalance. This means that the androgen / estrogen ratio is lower than it should be. In other words, you may be taking something or eating food that triggers estrogen production.

Foods that cause estrogen production include soybean products like soy milk, potatoes, olives, parsley, hops (in beer), egg plant, rice, oats, yams, pomegranates, chickpeas. These foods are usually eaten in higher amounts by women who want to increase their breast size. Therefore, you will want to change your diet if you are over eating the foods above and any others that trigger estrogen production.

When it comes to your workout, the best way to get rid of man boobs is to do both cardio and resistance exercise. Swimming, running, jogging, cycling, rowing, and playing sports are some pretty good cardio workouts. About 30 - 45 minutes of consistent cardio will burn fat. However, this will not be enough.

You will also need to do resistance exercises that will tone your chest. The best way to get rid of man boobs is to do low resistance high repetition exercises such as diamond push ups, chest flies, dumbbell press and dips. If they become too easy, you can increase the resistance by doing push ups on a medicine ball or with your feet elevated. With dumbbell flies and dumbbell press, simply increase the weight to add more resistance.

If your man boobs are caused by a hormonal imbalance, you will probably have to change your diet. There are certain foods that trigger estrogen production and you will probably want to limit/avoid them. They include soybeans product like soy milk, alfalfa, cinnamon, dairy foods, eggs, tomatoes, flax seeds, chickpeas, potatoes, sunflower seeds, yams, apples, beets, celery and others.
