How to make aging skin tougher? It's a strange question isn't it? What has toughness to do with skin health? Well quite a lot actually, because as you age your skin starts to lose it's toughness, and this leads to the signs of skin aging like wrinkles, fine lines, skin sagging, dull lifeless looking skin, poor skin elasticity and thinning skin. How to make aging skin tougher is a very good question to ask.

How can skin be tough? Well when you're younger your skin is supple, yet firm, and elastic. If you pinch a fold of skin on a teenager and pull, then let go, it snaps back into place. That's skin elasticity and skin health, and skin toughness.

But try the same thing on the skin of a 50 year old and a lot of the "snap" is gone, because the skin is aging skin and has lost a lot of it's toughness, firmness and elasticity. So if you're looking for ways to make skin tougher you're well on your way to making skin healthier and more elastic, and supple. This is younger looking healthier skin.

Why does skin lose it's toughness as it ages? Because as it ages skin loses some of it's stores of 2 essential proteins, collagen and elastin. And it doesn't replace it all. And as collagen and elastin aid in skin thickness, and skin suppleness and elasticity, the loss of collagen and elastin results in reduced skin health, and thinner, less tough, skin.

But don't think you can replace that collagen and elastin by buying a bottle of cream with collagen and elastin in it, because it's well known that the molecules of collagen and elastin are too large to enter the skin. It's just in the bottle to help sell more bottles.

But one enterprising New Zealand company has actually been able to extract some of the active ingredients from sheeps wool to produce a new skincare ingredient that has been shown be research to actually stimulate the skin to produce more of it's own collagen and elastin, and the research results have been impressive indeed. Tougher more healthy skin with less wrinkling, less sagging and better ability to repair itself.

So the answer to the question how to make aging skin tougher has been discovered, and there is a skin care product that does it.

It's been the biggest breakthrough in skin care science for a long time. The ingredient is called Cynergy TK, and it's only available in the very best skincare products and anti aging products in the world. It's extremely expensive and for this reason isn't used by the mainstream big brand skincare and anti aging companies you'd recognize from their TV advertising.

But it is used by the manufacturer of the worlds highest quality skincare products, and because they don't retail through the regular stores it's actually quite price comparable with the big brands.

But you've probably never even heard of the company that makes these top shelf skincare products.
