So, you want to fit in. Though smoking cigarettes is somewhat out of fashion today, as people cannot deny the negative harmful effects that tobacco has on our bodies, there are still plenty of people that smoke, and plenty of people that will want you to smoke before you ride with their gang. You, however, are not willing to sacrifice your health, especially when there is a way out. That is where the electronic cigarettes come in. They will simulate the look, feel, and even the smoke of a cigarette without the harmful tobacco. It simply vaporizes a special liquid into a mist to simulate the smoke.
You may be thinking, Eureka! What could be better than a cigarette that actually has no negative effects? You can fit in with the cool kids while saving your lungs. Actually, there is one negative side effect. The one negative, besides the fact that these cigarettes are only helping you become an even bigger poser, is that these cigarettes do contain nicotine. Nicotine is what gets you addicted to cigarettes.
It is a tricky tactic for companies to employ, making sure to get you hooked and buying more. There are different levels of nicotine available in your electronic cigarettes, but none of them are free from nicotine. The differing levels could be a good way for cigarette addicts to wean themselves off the nicotine, by slowly moving down in percentage, but if you are a new user, you will get addicted to the nicotine in electronic cigarettes.
If you must be a poser, and if you must fit the grid for what is cool in high school, at least use electronic cigarettes. Do not destroy your lungs and do not spread second hand smoke. But hey, how about you do not even smoke in the first place?
