The invention of the treadmill has completely altered the way that the people tend to exercise. In the past, many people would not exercise because of various limitations.

For example, a business woman would be too busy to exercise during the day when the gyms were open. During bad weather she would rather not exercise than face the storms.

A teenager may have been unwilling to leave behind his electronics. A mother could not afford to pay for daycare for her children while she went to exercise.

Today, all of these things have been eliminated. With the purchase of a home treadmill, the business woman can workout at any odd hour of the night without leaving her home.

The teenager does not have to risk separation anxiety from his electronics. The mother can watch her children as she works out from home.

In addition to receiving all of the benefits of exercising, these people can share the benefits of exercising with others. For example, the children will see how important exercising is to their mother as she works out from home.

They in turn, may incorporate exercise into their lives beginning at an early age. They will experience the higher levels of self-esteem and self-confidence that come with exercising.

These things will help them be more successful at school, work, and in their social relationships. Of course, they will also be able to experience the joy of becoming in shape and physically stronger.

However, continually performing the same form of exercise at the same rate and difficulty will allow your body to settle on a plateau that may be difficult to get off of. As a result, you may become very discouraged because you are not seeing any improvement in the areas where you set goals for yourself.

To prevent this from occurring, you may want to strive to vary your routine once in a while. Change the settings on your machine to make your workout longer, harder, or faster.

Or try out a new sport. One sport that is not very well known in the United States is the sport of Buzkashi.Buzkashi is the official sport of Afghanistan. The word "buzkashi" means "goat grabbing.

It is believed that Buzkashi was originally invented by the Turkic-Mongol people. There are two different types of Buzkashi.

These two types are called Tudabarai and Qarajai. Qarajai is the more difficult and challenging of the two versions of Buzkashi.

In this game, a headless carcass is placed at the center of a field. The players circle around the carcass.

There are two different teams that play against each other. The goal of the game is for your team to get control of the carcass and take it to the scoring area.

This may seem very simple or even too simple. However, it is not nearly as easy as it sounds. Only the most cunning and strong players ever get close enough to touch the carcass. The winner of the buzkashi usually receives many prizes that are provided by the sponsor.

Prizes could include things such as money, turbans, clothing, and so forth. The most masterful player is called the chapandaz. It is a great honor to win this title. It takes a lot of effort and severe training in order to become this player.

Experience usually plays a big role in who is the chapandaz. Most of the time only people older than 40 years old earn this title.

This game is played on horses. The horses must also undergo years of training to work effectively with its master.

A team of rider and horse that work well together will minimize the risk for injury significantly. In the game of Tudabarai, the rider must only grab the carcass and carry it away from the starting circle in any direction while stay clear of the other riders.

This sounds simple, but again it is not nearly as simple as it sounds. In the game of Qarajai, the rider must grab the carcass and carry it around a marker.

Most of the time the marker is a flag that is set on the course. Then, he must return the carcass to the correct starting circle.

To many Afghans, this game is more than simply a game. The game teaches them principles that are necessary for daily life.

They see Buzkashi as the primary way to obtain these principles and apply them to life. These principles may include teamwork and communication among other many things.
