If you are too embarrassed to be asking questions you may start making the same mistakes repeatedly. Being teachable when you are shoved into a new situation is absolutely mandatory in the nursing field.
Speaking a foreign language may help you ascertain a job in a specific city or even country. You will be able to utilize that language in your everyday life and not have to deal with a translator while you are working with patients.
Finally, you want to make sure that you do not get caught up in the excitement of the job without really thinking about it. Some personalities are not equipped to deal with the constant change and moving associated with traveling nursing.
