When you meet with your doctor you may want to give him or her some general goals that you have thought about. If you want to lose weight or you are looking to perform in some type of activity you will want to discuss this with your doctor as well.
After you have met with your doctor you may want to meet with a personal trainer or even a dietitian. The benefits that you receive are going to far outweigh the costs that you are going to incur for the meeting.
If you have to choose between the two services you want to make sure that you are choosing the professional that will help you the most. If your diet is more difficult to control you should be meeting with a dietitian.
On the flip side if you are having hard time exercising a personal trainer may be more beneficial. There are many people that can choose one of the two professionals to work with to accomplish the goals they have set.
