In a world where cellulite is one of the biggest problems of women, ineffective cellulite products abound. Where there is a buck to be made, a scam which seeks to take your money away from you is always nearby. Admittedly there are some effective cellulite treatments that really work, but those that come off the shelf are usually bogus.

Add this to the fact that the world is experiencing a financial meltdown, which means every dollar spent must be worth the effort that was put in to it. Furthermore, surveys show that the demand for these cosmetic products actually increase in times of crisis, as women through all walks of life, seek to look and feel better as an escape from financial troubles. This is a double edged sword for women, as indeed with the cosmetics they buy they can look better, but the chances of a company trying to dupe them into buying a product that does not work is also much higher.

Let us take a look at a general picture of cellulite products which are not likely to work.

Cellulite Creams

Cellulite creams of all types, sizes, and shapes are available in the market today. They all claim to have the desired effect of "removing cellulite or reducing cellulite." The problem is that they cost easily from $30-$100 depending on the product, and nearly all of them do not deliver on the desired effect. Yes they do contain a lot of expensive ingredients and can lead to softer and moisturized skin, but there are a lot of moisturizers out there that do the same thing for half the cost of these cellulite cream nightmares.

This makes a huge money sink for women who believe that these creams work. They believe in all the hype and marketing, and fail to do proper background research on the products. The women who do research, if at all, are also fooled by false clinical trials, and testimonies that clearly have no scientific basis. It should have been better spent on a gym membership, or on their other necessities, or to augment the family income as needed.

Cellulite Soap

The same thing can be said for cellulite soap. There are dozens of cellulite "seaweed" soap as they are often called and similarly, they cannot produce the results that they claim. The same marketing strategies toward women are usually made, and of course the same women who are duped by the cream advertisements are also duped into buying the cellulite soap. It is clearly another scheme to get the money of the women that they can fool with all their marketing and promotions.

Lipodissolve

There are also cellulite treatments such as lipodissolve which are expensive and claim to be very effective but are not even Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved. Lipodissolve which is injected under the affected areas of cellulite is one of the treatments that is proliferating in the market today, but is a product where the risks taken by the patient clearly outweigh the benefits.

These are some cellulite products available out there that should be avoided at all costs. There are those that work, and work very well, but most come at a high cost, but you get what you pay for, "no more cellulite." With these products just mentioned, you do not get what you pay for at all. All that you do is make those producing these products richer, and yourself poorer and still with an existing cellulite problem.
