Most women these days are searching for the perfect anti cellulite diet. These women feel that if they eat right they can avoid the unsightly cellulite that forms around the thigh, buttocks, and pelvic area.

Foods to Avoid.

First and foremost certain foods should be avoided. Since cellulite is actually a fat deposit beneath the skin, then excessive fat intake is a factor in cellulite formation. Avoid fatty foods like potato chips, fried chicken, and other similar foods which are heavy in fat. Try to grill or bake food instead in order to reduce the oils that can add to your daily fat intake. Also try to reduce your sugar and salt intake as these can add to the possibility of cellulite formation. If you are fond of drinking soda, and would like to get rid of existing cellulite or avoid it, then you should stop drinking soda immediately.

Fiber Rich Foods.

Make it a point to eat fiber rich foods. These are your selection of fruits and vegetables, and a choice of fiber rich cereals and bread. Eat a variety of these foods as they contain essential vitamins and minerals that are good for the skin, and are effective tools to prevent cellulite. These are truly anti cellulite foods. Some of these fiber rich foods are all types of bran cereal, spinach, corn, whole wheat bread, red cabbages, carrots, fresh potatoes to name a few. There are a lot more of these foods which are also fiber rich, and with the variety of choices, you have no excuse, as it is impossible that none of them suit your taste.

Organic Foods.

Another thing to take note of is that one of the causes of cellulite are toxins and harmful substances that get into our system. These usually come from fertilizers and pesticides sprayed on fruits and vegetables that are grown. Which is why, as much as possible, when buying these fiber rich foods or any food for that matter, make sure that you buy those which are specifically marked as organic.

Vitamins and Minerals

Of course part and parcel of the anti cellulite diet is the intake of the necessary vitamins and minerals that our bodies need. Some of the essential vitamins that are good for cellulite prevention and that are required by the body are vitamin A, vitamin C, beta carotene, vitamin E, vitamin B, selenium and zinc. Ideally you should get your daily vitamins from the food you eat as this is the most natural, and the healthiest way to get them. But if this is not possible then daily supplements to add to your primary food intake can suffice

Anti cellulite foods are not that hard to find. In fact they can be easily purchased at your local grocery store. Take time to choose the right foods. Dieting and eating right can prevent, or reduce existing cellulite to a large degree. It just takes some research on what foods to eat, and eating the right amounts. With the proper diet and some discipline, you will be safe from cellulite problems that have plagued women from all walks of life.
