I love working out and exercising! I awaken each morning at 5:30 AM and start my routine of daily exercise with some basic calisthenics before moving on to a 45 minute routine of toning and strengthening from an aerobic rider. Then it is onto another intense workout of Pilates. I believe in keeping myself trim and fit and have come to enjoy spending each morning working out. For the most part my routine remains the same, but I have been alternating each morning's final exercise between yoga and Pilates. After sticking to a concentrated effort of yoga to lengthen and strengthen my muscles I have just added the alternating days of Pilates to help firm up my abdominal area and tone my body.
Having little interest in body building or developing myself through weight training I am concerned about keeping myself lean and toned. Over the past six months that I have incorporated my workout routine I have lost weight and feel great. Through a 45 minute yoga regimen I have become flexible and agile and about two weeks ago I started alternating the core strengthen exercise of Pilates to my four to five day a week routine. I have to admit the first couple of sessions were not easy on me and my lower abdominal muscles were sore after the workout, but as I have continued to do the exercises to firm up my legs and tighten my belly I have begun to notice that I am gaining greater strength and control.

For me the intensity of the Pilates workout is already beginning to define my abs and I am finding it easier to work through the more strenuous exercises with greater vigor and zeal.
